The Viking Stand Mixer Is Expected Quality

I was of those moms who were ecstatic when Viking Range Corp. announced that it would sell in its culinary products line 5-quart and 7-quart-stand mixers, with 800 and 1,000 watts motor capacities, respectively. Why? Both my husband and I came from a large family, and family gatherings meant large food preparation with my mother-in-law and I at the helm. Since acquiring my VSM 700 Viking stand mixer, I cannot imagine feeding our food-loving relatives whom I fondly called Vikings without it.

The slant position facilitates even beating as the beater mix all the way to the bottom of the bowl. When preparing batters, there is also less scraping of the sides and bottom of the bowl. Above all, batters come out silky-smooth and combined perfectly because of its motor’s sheer power. After mixing your ingredients, you can easily remove the bowl for it has latches at the bottom and the motor head above it, is tilt-lift. It is dishwasher safe too.

Sturdy and built for larger recipes, the mixer’s basic attachments like V-beater, whip and dough hook are heavy-duty stainless steel. The dough hook, in particular, can be put easily by just putting it counterclockwise. If you want to get it off, just take it off clockwise. Power and convenience are what this small machine is all about.

There are also attachments for this device making it more functional and a must-have item in the kitchen. Like the other brands, the attachments are to be purchased separately. You can have food grinder and stuffer, high-speed disk slicer, pasta maker, juice extractor, blender, and these attachments work on the same power and ease as that of the mixer itself.

As if those mentioned features are not enough, a Viking stand mixer has wheels on the bottom so that you do not have to lift it when you put it on its designated area at the counter after use. You only have to drag it to its storage corner. This heavy-duty appliance, therefore, feeds and serves you like a king.
